Isabel is analytical, intuitive, creative, empathic and has a good sense of humour which she combines with her skill as an enthusiastic and inspiring communicator. She has a BA Degree in German and Business Studies, a Postgraduate Certificate in Community Education, a Certificate in Lifecoaching, and a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. She has 30 years experience of working in personal, corporate, community and international development, including eight years as Scottish Director of an international charity. She has transformed her own life using vision and goal-setting techniques. Here she tells us how: "While working as Scottish Director of a voluntary organisation, I realised I was setting strategic objectives for the organisation but had no clear goals for my own life. I began to explore who I really was and what I wanted from life. Even after clarifying some long and short term goals, I still found myself thinking one day, 'Whose life am I living anyway? It certainly isn't mine - I am unhappy in my work, I hate my house, my health is suffering and my relationship with my partner could be a whole lot better.' I needed to take responsibility for my life, take care of myself and take action, quick! Four years later I had left that job, sold my house in Edinburgh, married my partner and moved to live by the sea in Fife. I am now happily running my own business inspiring others to follow their heart and become what they are capable of becoming, which I LOVE."
